My Fellow Americans is an independent newsletter written by Nina Mishkin. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Your email address when you subscribe, and any details you choose to share, such as your name or a reply to an issue. If you become a paid subscriber, our payment processor handles your payment; we do not see or store your full card number. We also collect basic usage information, such as which issues you open and which links you click, and website analytics.
To send you the newsletter, run paid subscriptions, learn what readers find useful, keep the site secure, and respond when you write to us. We do not sell your personal information.
Only the services we use to run the newsletter: our newsletter and website platform (beehiiv), payment processing, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, measure traffic, and remember your preferences. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA and GDPR.
This newsletter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy, we will post the new date above. For questions or requests, including to see, correct, or delete your information, reply to any issue.
